It’s November of 2017, and Remy Lewbel is focusing on his financial classes, but he knew it was time to bring back his events. In early November, Remy Lewbel hosted his next event in Holland, Michigan: Villa in The Woods. Holland would be Lewbel’s next big event with over 50 artists applying and selling out in the first week of ticket release. Lewbel started focusing on improvements with a stabilizing foundation with a secure video team, DJ, and professional security. Lewbel would then rent out a 14-bedroom modern villa built into a hill in the forest. The house was five floors tall with wrap-around balconies. “The perfect place for a party” (Speer, Austin. Personal Interview 14 May 2020). The content was spectacular with the picturesque backdrop of the Michigan countryside. With the event selling out so quickly, it gave time for Lewbel to start working with brands. Lewbel would work with clothing brands from local businesses. Lewbel scored a deal to chauffeured in a limousine from his college dorm, taking him to the event and back. “Showing up in a limo to your own event made quite a splash and will remain a highlight in my memory reel” (Lewbel, Remy. Kalamazoo Media. 20 March 2018). TREND45 would begin the cycle of hosting events on a continuous pattern. With the success of these events, members would return again and again, from Alison Finley (MUA Model), Dylan Hudson (Photographer) to Breanna Borski (Model).
